Government: Everything You Wanted to Know

The Alachua County Democratic Executive Committee (ACDEC) in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Indivisible Gainesville, the Democratic Women’s Club and the Alachua County Democratic Black Caucus invite you to the community forum, “Government: Everything You Wanted to Know about Local Government but Didn’t Know Who to Ask”, to take place on Sunday July 16, 3:00-5:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church located at 630 NW 2nd St, Gainesville, FL 32601.
The forum is designed to simplify government and help citizens of Alachua County with questions they may have.
Keynote speakers will be Ken Cornell, Chair of the Alachua County Commission; Dr. Leanetta McNealy, Alachua County School Board Member and Ms. Shaney Livingston, Director of the Alachua County Library District.
Don’t miss your chance to ask questions to representatives during the breakout tabling session with: GRU, Regional Transit Services, Voter Information, Restoration of Rights, Library Services and the School Board.
