Why it is important to vote in this election
This may be the most important election in America’s recent history. Our democracy and other values are at risk. We must elect people who are truthful and stand up for all Americans.
We need to elect a governor who respects democratic principles and expresses concern for Florida’s citizens by addressing real problems like home insurance and affordable housing.
We need to elect federal representatives who will protect voting and reproductive rights.
We need to elect state lawmakers who will protect our environment and support the economic, health care and social needs of all citizens regardless of their background and income.
We need to elect local leaders who understand, share and advocate for the values of the citizens they represent.
